New knife

The only thing I don't like about knives like that is that they're serrated on the part you actually cut things with, making them hard and annoying to use. Pretty cool other than that.

May I ask what the hell you need a knife for? Do you hunt or fish or something? Spending $50 on a kinfe unless you hunt or fish seems crazy to me.

Ya, that seems a bit much, but it is a nice knife, Mr Crowley, he might camp though.... But if it was me camping or fishing, I'd get a survival knife like what Rambo had.

I basically have no use for it. But it's a SOG, and I found it cheap. So I bought it.

Nice little flip open.

My two favorite knives are the Swedish mora and the kukri.The mora is a militarized kitchen knife and the kukri half hatchet and half knife.I carry both on camping trips.

Knives are very helpful in everyday life especially if you are mechanically inclined and frequently fixing or building stuff. I've carried a pocket knife almost every day for 3 or 4 years (couldn't carry it in high school).

I've been using a Kershaw Scallion for about half a year and I've been happy with it so far. The thing I like most is that it has a little lever that you can easily push with your index finger until the assisted opening kicks in. http://www.kershawknives.com/productdetails.php?id=54

Nice knife. I've heard good things about SOG, but never really used one personally.

PVC, in most states you can carry a pocket knife into school.It 's largest blade can be no more than 2" other than that they are perfectly legal.I'd check the school's regs first if you plan on carrying.I carry around a swiss army and a maxim flip open(cheap knife, good for working) every day.I used to carry the swiss army in school too.
