Man, be creative you can use a waterhose blowgun or a paintspray blowgun (the one they use in car shops for painting cars). I'f a blow gun is the thing i think it is (the little metal trigger connected to the gun with some hose) If that's not it I apologise for my "advice"

If you are refering to rna_duelers, he means the random bit of small bore tubing, not the valve.

nice gun :D i think ill make a copy of that gun with the ball valve breech loader

and also rna_duelers im from australia too if your looking for metal tubing around that size have a look at a hobby shop they sell every size from 1mm to around 15mm in aluminium or brass i bought some for my bbmg barrel
the good thing is you can also buy the next sixe up (which fits over it perfectly) and sleeve it for added strength.

Can't find blowgun stuff | copper pipe, small bore PVC, the list goes on...
Rifling | blowgun darts are fin-stabilized, so rifling is un-neccesary.
Pressure | 1" sch 40 PVC is rated for 450 psi, but the valve is only rated for 125, so that's the (safe) limmet.
How many psi | I'm see this from a lot of posters... PSI is a unit of measure - would you ask "how many feet can you put in your height?"? Didn't think so... the word is pressure.

Your going to need a huge fricken' air compressor! LOL. I hope your talking about a spherical ammo, because a vortex design only works on spherically shaped projectiles. I dont know why your so exicted...

Yeah spherical ammo, and yes mine is huge(air compressor). Maybe a regulated scuba tank for power with the vortex machined out of steel.

DR of the spudtech forums has done a 14mm barreled cloud chamber design. Fed it directly from a large tank via a 1/2" or 3/4" ball valve.

Yess lol

I wouldent use cans for targets you wil shot right through them and hit something. but it is a cool gun but you could use a bigger barrel.
