this is my pocket pneumatic that I have had for a few months, the barrel is 1/2"cpvc, the body is 3/4 pvc, it is acuated and filled by schrader, it often fails to shoot and is very weak, sadly it is so weak that it can't shoot lose fittin objects, but all is not lost it tightly fits nerf darts and shoots them with satifactory power

On that scale, you need to be running at least 200 psi+ for decent power. Still, nice and compact launcher, good to see more small co-axials around :)

nice, it looks pretty cool. I am just finishing my "Jackssmirkingrevenge inspired" pen gun. All credit goes to him for the idea, I wont lie . which looks similar to yours, except mine is smaller and in a pen.
Nice work on creating some "pocket-power" though.

No you didnt, but I made a guess that it was. Would neoprene not work better to seal it because it helps if the barrel isnt 90 degrees perfect. But if it is, it isnt an issue.
Maybe your gun isnt very powerful because there isnt enough chamber space because your C:B ratio is 0.5:1, which is pretty small!

Also, if it fails to shoot, then your piston probably isn't tight enough in the chamber, or it has too much friction.

If you could make a few more of these and make a mechanism to fire them you could build a rifle of sorts.

That would be wicked in my chemistry class if equip with a mini pump. I can get away with anything in my class. Anyway that is one of a kind, at least the only one of that kind that I have seen. Good one, yous should post some more pics or a diagram.

That's the idea I was playing with here, still a work in progress ;)
