glass is also brittle and might break not under pressure plus glass would be super lethal if exploded under pressure

Glass bottles would scare the crap out of me, but I really dig that one. Aluminum is a pretty safe material to use, I would think. Reminds me of the episode of mythbusters where they shot a hole in the oxygen tank like in the final scene from Jaws. It made a very clean hole, but didn't tear at all.
