it looks very nice,
though you should use pressure rated and secondly use a better valve next time for better prestations
hint: oil the ball valve to get it opening easier and more quickly
My first Cannnon
Looks pretty good.
The jury rigged ball valve is ingenious, but why didn't you just use threaded adapters?
Don't ask advice from people at Home Cheapo, most of them don't have a clue what they are talking about.
Spring loading (or pneumatically actuating) the valve will yield better performance.

I like the idea of the Extension Handle for your Ball-Valve, those things seem to always be hard to Open.

Looks great, very clean, I can't wait till you get into the bigger stuff with bigger and better valves.
Like everyone said, DWV can handle 125psi everynow and then, but i've had 260psi rated pipe blow on me at 110psi. So you're never safe really, there is that 1/1000(numbers straight form my ass) chance that it'll blow.

I agree with DYI stay away from the discount stores.
You wanted a flush bushing 4x2/4x1 1/2
Go to a plumbers supply, don't be shy tell 'em what your building
Just know what parts you need, look 'em up
They can be real helpful.
Bring coffee and they might even like ya
