It would probably make some decent damage, and if you really want something good you could put a bolt/ piece of metal in the middle of the ice.

LOL, I just found this old topic and had to laugh, because of the argument whether your cannon is huge or not; and look what used to be massive "back in the day". This!

Haha, oh well, just found that funny

About the ice slug video, it won't happen till tomorrow now, since I had to go out of town for a while, and my mom destroyed the slug when she was rearranging the freezer; now it's in three pieces, none of which are bigger than 120 grams. I'll try to make a new one for tomorrow, and post the video sometime in the afternoon.

Isn't it interesting how the topic for a tiny ball valve gun with a sloppy paint job is up to five pages, in yet the topics for our triggered burst disk guns are so short?

I honestly don't know. Run the specs through GGDT and that should give you a close estimate of the energy and velocity if you know the weight of the slug.

Yeah, because water expands when frozen, so probably about 75 cubic centimeters of ice, so that would weigh approximately 350 grams so thats about 18.5 ounces.
