Ok, ball valves constrict flow. We all know that but say that I had a 1 1/2 chamber with a 2 in ball vave with a 1 in barrel would the larger valve...

Your best bet would be to make it so that springs would open the valve. They have to be tight tho so it will open fast. But if you are going to do it...

This is my first cannon. It is made of 1.5 inch schedule 40 PVC and a ball valve. It fires golf ball cores (see images) nicely, but not much else...

I also found that 5 hour energy bottles work well, but there is a small gap around the sides, so I may wrap it with duct tape until it fits better....
