push button triggered pneumatic

I have looked all over this site for how to make a push-button type triggering system for a pneumatic and cant find anything. [Sort of like this: http://spudtech.com/detail.asp?id=53 ] I'm not exactly sure how to do this so if someone could help, that would be great. Thx!

From what I can see on that cannon, it's an electronically triggered sprinkler valve. Most people around here use pneumatically actuated ones because they're more efficient and they open faster, but you can find a sprinkler valve with an electronic triggereing system and rig it up like that. Don't ask me how, I'm sure each one is different. If you can get me schematics with a wiring diagram, I can tell you how to rig it.

Make a piston pnuematic. Search in you don't know how. Then attach a solenoid (electic sprinkler valve) to the pilot chamber. Wire to a trigger, and presto.

yes you can trigger any valve electronically by piloting it with a sprinkler. sprinklers are either triggered electronically threw the solenoid or pneumatically by modding it.

if its a piston valve you could use a solonoid sprinkler valve as the pilot if you mean a modded sprinkler valve i would hook up a servo you can get them at hobby shops.Or mabey just mabey you could find a very small electronic valve to use in place of a blowgun on a sprinkler valve.

As everyone has said, you simply wire a button to the solenoid of a sprinkler valve. Whether the sprinkler valve is your main valve or your pilot valve, it doesn't matter.


You could also have a push button switch for a pneumatically operated one. (McMaster #6790T42)
