These are moulded from Polyurethane with a BB head.
They are accurate enough to shoot a fly from 10 feet away. These particular ones are made for an 8mm bore.
What do you guys think?

If you miss your a bad shot, honestly Caos i make these in 12.7mm form and they are accurate within three inches at roughly 20 metres no B.S.
I will make some vids next week and show you all.

I just hit a target twice with two shots at 28 feet with the 12.7mm.
The target was less than 1 1/2 inches in diameter, first shot hit the outer of the target, second shot hit within 2mm of centre! 8)

They look preyy cool. What advantages does polyurethane have compared to other materials, like say resin or epoxy though?

My guess would be that he uses a short piece of 8mm pipe, lubes it up, puts a BB in the bottom and pours the polyurathane over it until it reaches the desired height.

I simply drill a hole or holes in a sheet of plastics and pour in the Poly.
Add the bb first.

Your ammo reminds me that the guys on Airsoftforum.com were thinking up ideas to improve the accuracy of airsoft sniper rifles, and someone suggested that an airsoft rifle should be created to shoot a shaped projectile instead of the round BB and maybe even add rifling to the barrel. I couldn't help but remember this when I saw your thread so I thought I would speak my mind for a moment.

An airsoft gun for shaped ammo? With any kind of hig ROF you'd need to put a lot of ingenuity into the mag or you'd run out of ammo real quick.

Also, those rounds look like they have a bit extra on the back, do you cut that off, or leave it on to ensure a better seal?
