thats (I think) the biggest problem with alliances, suddenly when two people decide to go at it, their alliances are stuck giving them a hand whether they had anything to do with it or not. thus condemning a whole bunch of nations in an all out war

yup, I still play, I don't know as I would be classified as a "strong" nation, but I'm getting there.

I called my Natio Evil secret base, and now the people want to have a totalarian state with Muslim religion, I mean how awesome does it get?

no you always start small, but (shameless spamming ahead, you been warned!) if you join an alliance such as toh you can get aid to give your nation a jump start and info on how to make things work best/smoothest
