Schrader for Propane Injection

I would like to know if anyone has ever used or heard of using a schrader valve setup to fill the metering pipe of a propane injected combustion. I was wondering if this would work because I wanted to do this as the cannon I want to build is rather small and I don't want to have to have the tank attached to the gun itself. So tell me if this would work... Using a tire fill valve attached to the metering pipe (with pressure gauge), and having the filler attached to a propane tank, and just pressurizing the meter pipe to 90psi with the tank. To me this would also be a way to easily convert it to pneumatic if I so desired, or an easy way to vent it with pressurized air for a combustion. Anybody here have any suggestions?

yeah that will totally work, its also a great way to keep your propane meter portable. however you are going to have to calculate the volume of the meter pipe in coordination with your chamber size

I knew about the meter, I'm going to use that fuel calculator, but I have to actually build the chamber or dry fit it and get my CV, but I'm not sure whether I'm gunna use brass or galvanized pipe and fittings, I don't really want to use copper unless I really have to because I don't wanna have to adapt to copper, plus I want to keep it as small as possible, like 1/8" or 1/4" NPT for fittings and the valve, as my gauge and schrader valve are 1/8", and I can get a small brass 1/4" valve. I like the setup as it requires only 1 valve (thats saving another $10), and it stays very small as my chamber is going to be 2"x8" SCH80, with a 3/4" barrel.

yeah use 1/8" fittings to save space, you can find mini ball valves at 1/4 inch that would be perfect for a meter pipe
