If it worked for a piece of laboratory equipment, it will surely work for a chamber filled with gaseous hydrocarbons :)

ok...tried it.With painful results.I was spray painting me new gun when i absent-mindedly clicked the ignitor.pretty cool, flames shot out like a jet, burned my knuckles. ow.

Medic!! :lol: That happens to nearly everyone at one point or another. I nearly did the same thing, but luckily the crappy grill ignitor did not light the mixture. No such "problems" for you with your ignitor. :lol:

Lucky you..Well, least now we know that this is reliable enough to light such low concentrations of flamable vapour..
