I have a design that was given to me by a friend that explains how to build a pneumatic battery gun. I think ive got an alright idea on the barrel, vale(sprinkler). I was wondering if any one can help me in making a pressure rated PVC pressure tank and how big it should be to get a maximum range possible?

Thanx

easy you should go to your local bunnings and get 1 metre of Pressure rated PVC pipe, Next you should get two endcaps (pressure rated) and some PVC primer and PVC cement and use the two to put the endcaps on the PRessure rated PVC (cut it down from 1m to the right size).

To put a filling valve on it just drill a whole in one of the endcaps and put the filling valve there.

With some common sense along the way it's easy

Do you know approx. how much all this might cost?

Also, what valve and how to seal it on so that its airtight and pressure rated?

use ,for your first, a ball valve they're cheap and damn effective  .
TO secure it drill a hole in the other endcap and use a connector and thread it into that a hole and then into the ball valve.

All up to make the chamber it would cost you about 25-30 dollars tops.

Saboo, just use the old glove gun barrel.

You remove the glove and then use it as a barrel. .

but once you've done this 25-30 dollar chamber all you need is a a barrel which you have plenty of(use the glove guns).
