Have a look at the patent diagram, I'm quite sure that if you mounted it correctly, the more pressure you add the better it will seal.

You keep going on about mounting it correctly, maybe you would actually like to show how to mount a blowgun properly?

Havn't been able to upload a video yet as they're all in the 25mb+ range, i'll stick it on youtube when its finished ocmpressing.
I do however have some stills from the video of the impact.

It looks wonderful, but if I'm being pessimistic, the fact that the streak is visible isn't really a good sign in velocity terms.
Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

My camera has a high frame rate, so this is pretty damn fast, i should put it through a chrono just to see what it comes out as......Still looks pretty cool, my favourite one is where the spud just impacts the tin can.

Presumably the short wide barrel was being used? Also, it was after all a potato, not exactly the cream of high velocity projectiles in terms of barrel friction, streamlining and ballistic coefficient...

I only use the 22mm barrel so i can fit larger stuff down it.. More weight = More force.
