Here is how you get multiple shots out of a single pumping:
instead of having the pilot valve vent to the open air, it vents to a second valve, lowering slightly the pilot pressure. this will trigger the QEV, until it reaches the same pressure, and then it will snap back into place, saving much of your air. Next you simply open up the second valve to reset it. close up #2 again and you are ready to fire.

thx, i'll probably just end up putting that regulator between a filling chamber and a firing chamber, i'll let you know how it works when i finish it, i probably won't get to it until next weekend though
