Pilot Gun?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Is it possible to make the pilot of a piston into a gun itself? (Im thinking making it so it shoot cotton swabs / bbs). Advice is much appreciated.

People have used blow guns before, but it makes the guns really weak. You could also use a ball gun to shoot the gun, but it makes it reaaly inacurate.

Rephrase your question, I don't understand.

Do you mean using a pilot valve such as a blowgun or solonoid as the main valve for a mini-cannon to shoot cotton swabs or bbs? Yes, that could be done, but the performance would probably suck.

I'm not sure exactly what you meant, so as I said, please rephrase the question.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

I did it with the stock on my first coaxial. It involved a piece of hose, a piece of brakeline, and a lot of duct tape.
4 ci at 80 psi, dumped through a sprinkler valve is quite enough to shoot a BB.

You could use it to launch a counterweight (such as a mass of water) in order to counter recoil in the same manner of recoilless rifles like the MBB Armbrust.

I've done it with my GB gun, managed to shoot a BB through cardboard.
