lets say you have a big yard and 2 bbmg's and you and your bud want to go running around shooting the cr@p out of each other (with saftey gear ofcourse) but you need a effecient air or c02 source,a paintball 12 ounce gas bottle would do perfectly ,then you stop and think Ah what if i got a small fire extinguisher filled it with gas used it as an air source.
keep the following in mind;

fire exinguishers are cheeper and you can get them at hardwear stores
they are small
they are red
they have big warning signs on them so even monkeys get the basic 'use properly' issues

im just wondering if that would be a good idea for portable spudplay.

I'm pretty sure this has been done. I think most fore extinguishers are rated for up to 500 PSI. All yu have to do is regulate it.

Shooting people with a homemade weapon with or without saftey equipment is dangerous. Unless you have bullet proof safety glasses and a uniform lined with metal I can easily see something going wrong. My freind was stupid enough to shoot me with a folded up sock. Getting shot with a sock hurt, imangine what a BB .177 in diameter is going to do.

Its not fun being shot is it,a friend shot me in the back of the uper arm in the soft skin with a grape out of his sniper and it blew the skin off the area.Dont have wars with homemade spudguns,even with safetygear some one could get seriously hurt.

Dont do it. If you are useing a portible air supply, that means that it will be ahigh pressure. If something goes wrong, and the gun fires at 500psi at a few thousand RPM into your freind, then you are veery, very, screwed.

Dont you get it? Were not going to reccomend anything besides NOT doing it.

Im sure myself and possibly others dont really feel like aiding you in what could very easily turn into a tragic event.
