In this topic I wil show you the progres of my first coaxial gun.
My plan is to make a simple coaxial from (pressure rated) PVC pipe, I´m building the gun for the performence not for the desgin :!: .

28/10/07
I made parts for the gun. Today I made the reducer for the barrel, made the endcap and made the piston.
The reducer is made drom black derlin rod, I machined it with a lathe and drillpres.
The piston was made out of 32mm PVC, two iron-rings, and a threaded rod. The sealing face was a big problem because I don+t have acces to soft rubber sheets :x . Then I found a beer bottle with a system that uses a neopreme washer to seal  , I used this for my piston and it´s works :) .
Richt now I´m afraid that the gun wont work because the piston seals for 80%, so I think that when I pull the 1/4ball valve the piston won´t move  Can this be a problem?

You need to grease the piston and the the piston housing. Use white lithium grease, you can buy it from a hardware store. This will make the piston slide easily and still seal weel without O - rings.
