This was second combustion cannons I ever built, way back around last thanksgiving or so. It use to have one of my triggered spark gaps using a camera flash circuit, but after dropping the cannon it wasn't reliable in firing. So I rebuilt it a couple months back.
And I felt kind of redeemed myself for the mistakes I had made both with this one in the begining and my first combustion cannon after I rebuilt this one. Anyways for some reason I never thought of posting it.

Specs:
4"x14" sch 40 pvc combustion chamber. 2"x60" sch 40 pvc barrel.

Metered Propane. Meter made from cutting 1/2"threaded to 3/4" slip reducers so they would fit in 1" coupler.

Push-Camera Flash Igniton. Push nail into chamber to touch screw; discharging capacitors.

Everything securly mounted on boared. Chamber fan switch/battery and camera flash mounted in box. Completly portable.

Shoulder Fired.

Range: +300 Yards, (Guessing, no official range taking).

Neat! Good job. I really like the "missle" switch (sorry for my lack of proper terminology). It also seems like getting your foot in the picture is an epidemic  .

Of course, my ears always ring after I fire a cannon. Maybe I'll get hearing protection for my birthday lol.

They where from when I had a trigger spark gap. I had to fill the holes, and screws were all I had, and a couple were for screwing the control box down. The two long ones though are for the alligator clips for the fan.

Don't like it for a couple reasons. First firing stance up next to your head. Even pressure rated pvc I wouldn't be dumb enough to sit that thing next to my noggin. Next would be all the screws into the single layer. Very Dangerous. and once again being fired right next to your noggin Very Stupid. I like how everyone notices his foot in the picture but not all the unsafe things.
Yea, that's definitely going to get you at least a tazer.

Alright, good deal. It is yours and yours alone so you can hold it/fire it however you want, just don't ask me to fire that thing. Anyway sorry if I sounded like a d!c<

I have a straight cannon I fire 'zooka style all the time. Actually it's about the only way to do it without moving the trigger. No problems. Unless you've had a chamber blow on you, what difference does it make if you shoot from the hip, rifle style, or zooka style? Notice from the top pic there are 4 or 5 other guns in there, it's not like Killjoy doesn't know what he's doing. Zooka style is just fine . . .
