gauge Help please

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

hey guys this is my first time putting a gauge on my penumatic can u help me, i got this gauge from an old air compressor and it has a small threaded fitting on the bottom do i just dril a hole in my gun and teflon tape it in my chamber, and does it decrese chamber volume enough to effect performance? and where in my gun should i put it? And one more thing is it better to have a guage or not

It wont hurt the gun. just put it in, seriously. Drill a hole of the appropriate size and thread it in.drill through a double layor of pipe. Its good to have a gauge

not really... it decreases chamber volume by the volume of the threaded fitting... so depending on your chamber volume it decreases your performance by 0.00000001 % to 0.1 % :D

I like to epoxy mine in place though. Just to be sure. I don't need a gauge to clip my face at a rate which I will have to drink my food afterwards.

yea gauges improve consistancy if your going for that o whole lot. drill hole i thread my holes with some think with the same threads then wrap teflon around it more at the tom than the bottom then cover in epoxy and screw in if you do it that way make sure epoxy doesnt get into the gauges hole.

Now what if someone (me) wanted to put a guage like this in a copper cannon?

For a copper gun you should be able to buy the appropriate copper fitting, probably 1/4" NPT.

Oh dude are you really gonna slipt c^nt hairs? umm ok what you're gonna need to do is get yourself a 1/4 npt fitting with the other end big enough to fit the threaded part from the gauge into and epoxy them together and thread it into your gun
