Hey guys, I think my pressure gauge is broken.. The pointer is supposed to be at the 0 mark where the metal pin is, but for some reason, it is below the pin. For example, it would be where the 6000 psi mark would be on this meter http://www.ultimatewasher.com/images/ac ... ge-big.jpg . Is there any way I can fix this? I havent tried my gun yet because its still drying.

I got the pointer back over the pin, I'll find out if it works tomorrow.

It's screwed.

Either that or the gauge really is reading 6500psi.

My money is on the needle somehow jumping over the pin during shock force and getting stuck on the wrong side.

If the pin is stuck on the other side of the pin, you may be able to fix it (depending on what type of gauge it is). Try taking it apart and moving the needle to the other side of the pin, then test it, and if it works, then put it back together but if it doesn't work, it isn't really that big of a deal since you would have had to buy a new one anyway.

Been thanked: 1 time

Have a go, i have found that they can indeed be fixed if there is no terminal damage.
