The fresh batteries drain within like 2-3 days and i'm not even using it. I was thinking that maybe the reason could be because its wired to a momentary push button but i dont know. I got the plans on burntlatke. http://www.burntlatke.com/laser.html Any suggestions?

You've obviously got a current drain somewhere. And until we get pictures of the problem, it's hard to know where.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

It sounds to me like you have a small (moderate resistance) short somewhere in your wiring.

Do you have a volt-ohm meter with an amp scale?

Wire the meter (set to read amps) in series between the batteries and laser. When the laser is off there should be no current flowing. With the laser on you should be getting perhaps tens to hundreds of milliamps flowing through the meter.
