Abut the 1p peices... They require some sanding/fileing down, but it is worth it. If you can't be arsed, 5p coins work a charm, but cost about 50p/shot.

The flechette nail/needle ideas are interesting. I might do it with the nails, they're cheaper and a bit heavier.

Some ideas there I might be using...

@Nova: Also some interesting ideas. I don't know about the gas bulbs, it could be more dangerous than I want to mess with. I obviously can't do it at close range for my safety, and missing at long range could be equally risky.

I don't have much sheet steel around. I have a rusty piece of 6mm about 6" by 6", a couple of small bits of 2mm, and I'm pretty short on 1mm, but there may be some somewhere.
Maybe you should mod your gun like the German "Krummer Lauf", that or they might make these big enough for your gun! http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech ... cornershot
That way you would be out of harms way when you fire the c02 canister :D

I've done remote triggers with launchers before, but that doesn't solve all of the problems. I need to find somewhere to do it, because explosive ammo doesn't mix with my regular range.

Well, whatever it is, it'll still fling metal fragments over a wide area.

I'll be home in a few days and will start filming soon after.
I like to have an idea of the music I'll be using before I start filming so I can fit stuff together better.

I've thought it through, and I am more likely to use several tracks this time rather than a single track. I already have a lot of tracks to consider for various parts of the video (quite a few film and TV themes amongst them), but I'm still open to suggestions.

MrC, glad to see that you have as much taste in music as you do in cannons!

Well... Iron Man is already on the shortlist.

Everything else is now being considered...

@Nova: Glad to see that it's anticipated. It'll still take a couple of weeks though.
