M1 Garand style rifle UPDATE with damage videos

This is my first :
-pneumatic with a functioning breech
-time working with Bondo
-pneumatic that i have spent over a month working on (Bondo)

so without further adieu, here is some info

Barrel-Half inch PVC
Chamber-3/4 Inch PVC
Valve-Modified 3/4 inch Sprinkler
Trigger-Blowgun
PSI-80-160
Ammo-Marbles, homemade slugs, Airsoft bbs and steel bbs(shotgun )



NO TAPE ON GUN!
(except on the breech and the where the shraider valve is)

This is my first time using Bondo, so please be easy when criticizing me,

The muzzle energy is not as powerful as i had hoped because of a small leak in the breech, but is still able to penetrate half inch drywall at fifty feet.

(The sprinkler valve is on the upper part of stock)

So PLEASE tell me what you think, i want to use this method again and some constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated

Hay that's very cool I like how you did the stock.

Next time though, before you paint the bondo you should shape it down with sand paper.

Thats almost what i want my QEV 250 PSI 10mm Dart rifle to look like, exept the stock is wood and contains extra ammo..........

nice job though. it looks strikingly real.

if i were you i would have taken an electric sander to the bondo, it would have given it a smoother look, but i dont mind. it looks old-timey and antique. and i like antique firearms.

theres nothing cooler than the muzzle flash and huge recoil of a large-bore musket........ besides the fact you hit 10 feet off of what your aiming at from 15 feet away...........

Now if you could only make it eject a spent cartridge with the infamous "Bding" sound

I think a good pair of files would be very good for shaping bondo, it works well with epoxy.

VH_Man:haha, yeah i wanted it to look like it was used in WWII, i cant aford an electric sander, so i just sanded it by hand and that helped a bit, next i use bondo, i'll have more sandpaper on hand

DEMON: i have designing a 5 round cartridge on the bottom of the rifle.. but that is for winter break

very very nice. i am a huge fan of the m1 myself and i think you did a fairly good job on it. its not perfect, but hey, considering you did it my hand i think its very well done.

Nice effort BountyHunter, you have done an incredible job of hiding all the workings and capturing the classic shape of the M1.
There is something about that rifle that grabs my attention every time, even when i play COD i choose the M1 over all the other weapons!
I like that it has some weight too, would make it feel much more realistic.

the sight is from an old CYMA AK-47 airsoft rifle, it broke , but i salvaged it for parts , thanks for the comment!
