injecting and igniting fuel

Hi guys. I'm kinda new to combustions (Usually build pneumatics) and was wondering how you get the fuel into the chamber and how you put the ignitor in the barrel. I am also wondering how the heck you put a fan in it. I am building a golf ball gun with a fairly basic design.

You don't know how to put fuel in the chamber?

Just go have a quick look at a couple guns on this website and you should get the information you need. But if that fails Id check the wiki they should also have what your looking for( Im not sure if they do so Ill check right now)Okay the wiki has what your looking for in ignition but getting fuel in the chamber is extremaly simple you open the cap spray in the propellent and close the cap or you could do propane injection but I would start with just sprying it in there and you clearly have no idea what your talking about so as MrCrowly said do some reaserch.

srry guys, I meant putting ignitor into the chamber, not the barrel.

Since people have all your other questions answered pretty well, I'll cover getting the fan in the chamber:


File the edges off the fan until it fits snugly into the chamber (80mm works well in 4" chambers), then you can apply some glue/screws to make sure it stays there. Alternatively, you can get creative and make a "mount" for a smaller fan with some metal.

And in case you were wondering, no, the combustion process shouldn't damage the fan.
