how does a Crosman model 1400 valve work?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Yes, that design looks like it would work, the valve is similar to the one I made here. The o-ring should pass over the hole with no problems, Just as long as the hole is smooth so it doesn't cause too much wear.

That's not the same valve.
