instead of using st ol en, cra cked software or paying full price, try giving free or open source a go.
for GIF animation you can use The Gimp 2.4. create your images with layers and simply save as a .gif
The Gimp is free as in beer and free speech.

I just use Microsoft GIF Animator, (because I'm old school like that. 8) ). I've used it since I started developing, and I still do. You can even download it for free, legally, from Microsoft's Web Site, if you have Windows.
All you have to do is make each frame in Paint, batch convert the frames to GIF, (using PaintShop v4, another freebie), and lay em' out in GIF Animator, and save.

Yea I think I'll try that out, sounds much more easier than working in adobe flash.markfh11q wrote:I just use Microsoft GIF Animator, (because I'm old school like that. 8) ). Well, I wouldn't know about that. It's certainly not easy, (you edit each individual frame), but if you get good at it, you can do pretty much anything.c19o wrote: Yea I think I'll try that out, sounds much more easier than working in adobe flash.

That's what I do in flash, make an original frame, copy into the next frame and edit that one for the next step etcmarkfh11q wrote:Well, I wouldn't know about that. Hell, thats what I do too in GIMP. With occasional exporting into paint for specific pixel editing then back again.MrCrowley wrote:That's what I do in flash, make an original frame, copy into the next frame and edit that one for the next step etcmarkfh11q wrote:Well, I wouldn't know about that. Theres always little automated stuff like blending images together but I can't be bothered with that much.
