this is my first/second cannon as it was originally my first but it went threw alot of changes so now its pretty much a new cannon.

it uses a spring loaded ball valve which is actually surprisingly effective, itll make a clean hole threw both sides of a box at 30psi using a wall plug as ammo, but mostly i have it at 110psi.

I only have 1 video at the moment but ill get more up as soon as my dad brings the compressor home from work.

@Mr. Beaver, no it isnt hard to aim because you can hold it like a rifle and then look down the barrel

lol yeah its the only decent spring i could find anywhere, according to my dad its a pipe bending spring (he's a plumber). Its a really strong spring though and it works how i wanted it to when i as designing it so its all good.

haha yh the cows dont like spud guns lol.

ill try get some more videos at the weekend and find out what it can do with some different ammo, because havnt tested it much yet because my dad had to take the compressor to work.

that shot was about 70-80psi, but ill be using it at about 110psi most of the time unless i find a cheap pump or compressor that will go above that.

It is indeed a pipe bending spring, it was the first thing I spotted. Interesting use of it. Watch your fingers, they're very stiff - if you're just slightly careless, you could be nursing a nasty injury for some weeks.

More pressure is pretty easy, if you look around your local bike stores, you should be able to find some that go up to about 160 psi, which will make a difference.

yh they are incredibly stiff, i was thinking of cutting it down to start with but then i realised how stiff it is and decided i wouldnt be able to use it at a shorter length, ill try to watch my fingers cause i imagine it would break them quite easily if i got them caught.

Yes, but that's a very large chamber for a shock pump, so it would take a very long time to get to such a pressure.

A good track pump is the wisest choice in that chamber size range.

Im also looking for any ideas on how to make a sight because i dont really want to buy a scope but i would like some sort of sight on it.

You can get red dot scopes (ideal for spudguns) really cheaply, if you want to make your own I had made a simple adjustable sight for this launcher.

@ jackssmirkingrevenge: thanks for the info, i think ill try and get a cheap red dot site and i might also try out your adjustable sight as well because it looks effective and considering ive made everything else on the gun it would be cooler to make the sight as well.
