So home depot doesnt have jack. for SCH40 4" fittings.
Neither does Ace...
Maybe im looking at this wrong... Does it have to be sch40? if it isnt how do you determine if a fitting is for Pressure, most of the stuff at Home Depot is DWV...
I need a 4" to 2" reducer and 4" couplers
Where r u guys getting your 4" Pressure rated PVC fitti
I was at Lowes who had a better selection of fittings. They had a direct threaded reducer from 2" pipe to 1 1/2" male thread. I first went to Home Depot where I had to "adapt" a few fittings to get what I needed. I believe they were Lasko fittings.
He needs 4in fittings...so a 2" to 1 1/2" would be pretty useless.
No were near me carries fitting over 2" that are pressure rated. Best bet is mcmaster online.

I had the same problem of getting 4"-2" reducers. I got 4" couplings and 4"-2" bushings off McMcaster. They are pretty expensive for fittings (about $8 for a 4"-2" bushing)

This. Between the stores in your area, you will have a very nice selection of eclectic fittings. Irrigation supply stores will have huge amounts of PVC pipe and fittings as well. I only use mcmaster if I have to have the parts right away or I can't find them anywhere nearby, as they are a lot pricier than normal. They do stock quality stuff though.TurboSuper wrote:I get mine from a plumbing/heating supply store, check your phone directory.

I posted a topic similar to this a month ago and got some advice on where to find larger than 2in pipe. I now get it at a plumbing supplys store at a pluming supply store. Some of them can be quite expensive, I had to check a couple of them before I found one with fair prices.Just have a look in your phone book and check out a couple of them in there and you will fing what you are looking for.
