What diameter would you like to invest in?

what you should do is go to a larger hardware store, where they sell many different kinds of pipe (copper, steel, iron, etc) with your 10mm projectile and look around until you find one that fits. Most larger stores, like Lowe's or Home Depot sells pipes 5ft (1.5m) or 10ft (3m) in length. Then buy the size you need and go home and cut it to the size you want.

If your cutting tool is limited stick to copper or aluminum. They are softest and easiest to cut, steel or iron would require lots of effort with anything short of a power tool.

In the US, copper is at record highs, so copper may be the most expensive where you live.

Other sizes exist, such as soft copper coils of varying diameters. The problem with those is that you need to bend them straight. And then put a rigider tube around it to keep it straight. It doesn't matter the type of tube, PVC is ok, it just needs to keep the copper coil straight.
My interest on spud guns began when I couldn't legally buy guns.
Now its because my guns are too loud to legally shoot.

Its not like it was legal to being with, but they don't offer subsonic 7.62x39 or 7.62x54R. They only have subsonic .22 long. Thats no fun stuff doesn't explode.

Copper is too useful for it's own good and no ones digging it up fast enough.

A 1m stick of .5" bright mild steel sets me back £2.16.

The same quantity of copper will run off with £21.14.

Guess which one I'm not going to buy for projectile stock
