well this is my first decent piston the first one sucked so much i mean like it had a good bumper but the piston deformed its self after the 20th and wouldnt fit no more so i got pissed and decided to make a new valve, i dont think this should belong in the cannons showcase cause, its not a cannon :lol:
this piston is going to be for my 2 inch tee 1.5 inch porting. the sealing face is the middle section of a toilet plunger very think stuff man :wink: the back is held in with a old pressure gauge i took apart fits very well in the 1.25 coupler. the rubber from the toliet bowl plunger should seal well i hope, do you guys think it will?

Looks good. But i think the wing nut isnt neccesary. You should just get a regualr nut.

ha i dont have regular nuts :lol: it holds the whole sealing face together, do you think the sealing face is seal good against the 1.5 sch40 barrel/

oooh thats ice construction, although you really should fill in the back with a removable plug or something to reduce pilot volume :wink:

Pistons dont need orings unless its a chamber sealing valve.
I think I will post my piston I am working on see if I can get any advice.

i thought orings were for barrel sealers to just so they could pilot better

nah tto hard to get a straight oring line i tried it with the drill and a kinfe made a good groove but not to straight. Like my piston Mr.C? :lol: o yea do you think the toliet plunger rubber will seal good as neoprene?

dump it in hydrocloric acid? :lol: jk yea i have to ask my tech teacher for some 2 inch pipe first , i have none and i dont wana go to homedepot for it,i only have 1.5 for the barrel :D
