2 or 3 are enough for the back one, it's the area that seals against the barrel that needs to be supported the most.

i'm sorry lol i was making it as i was posting i sortta tested it buy holdin it on one end of barrel and blowing on other it didn't leak so now all i gotta do is go down to the hardware tomorrow and get a few bits
