Its not that hared to understand. Just look at the outside surface of the bottle. Follow it to the bottom where it takes a curve and becomes the inside. Then follow the inside all the way up the narrow part to the top of the jar part.

Technically i don't think it's zero volume, but un undefined volume which would relate more to an infinite volume. It's like trying to find the area of a u. Because it's unbounded it has an undefined area.
