ready made semi/full auto hammers

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

battery powered and off-the-shelf, why not?

If it's just for semi-auto you could simply go with the manual version - no fiddly electrics, and more than enough "whack" to knock a hammer valve wide open :D

Interesting idea, would make things simpler. Its kind of on the expensive side though...

If you shop around i'm sure it wouldn't cost more than your average sprinkler valve

Am I the only one seeing staple guns here? I hope so and you lot are all looking at valves, because otheriwse I'll have to admit I'm too dumb to work out how.

Note that the title refers to ready made semi/full auto hammers, not hammer valves ;)

A stapler hammers the staple in - that hammer action could be used to open a poppet valve - I thought it was fairly obvious logic :?

It is logical, however I was expecting something a bit more err logical.

But the electric one has real potential I think.
