Bought a box of 54 caliber round ball bullets that are intended for black powder, fit perfect with a greased patch, and some half inch slingshot marbles. Now I'm going out to the garage to set up a bullet trap and destroy something. hehehehe

maybe a piece of half inch osb, or some quarter inch underlayment. I'm kinda curious if the lead will be to heavy to gain speed, heck maybe the marbles will do more damage because of better velocity....I'll fill you in later.

thanx for putting in that link biggrip. yes thats what I'm using, at about 125 psi.
The marbles fit perfect with a greased up piece of an old tank top. They made nice splintery holes through a piece of half inch osb and dented the piece of 1 inch mdf behind, the 54's fit perfect with a greesed piece of dryer sheet, and as well pounded a nice hole through the osb, and dented the front side of the 1 inch mdf, and I turned over the mdf and there was a few cracks in the back of it, so looks like the lead has more power.

Cool, it worked. so anyhow that pic on my last post was the 1 inch thick mdf backstop behind the 1/2 inch osb.

This one is the back of the mdf where the 54 caliber lead ball hit it, after mind you smashing through the osb, might be hard to see though

and these are views of the osb, you'll se a couple of the marbles just imbedded in but didn't go through. I'm still having a problem with a tiny leak in one of the compression joints now and again.

Nice, but you really should up the pressure a little, in theory twice the pressure means twice the power so go for it ;)
