EDIT: Yes the J.B. Weld doesn't look too good but I will sand it or file it when it dries

That looks like a nice gun.
although the burst disk size may be constricting flow.

Well, the burst disk is pretty much the same size as the barrel and isn't it like the larger the diameter of the burst disk the thicker it has to be to hold the same pressure? And it was olny 3 bucks (the union).

I mean the barrel, burst disk, and the pipe leading to the burst disk.
Im guessing its 1/2in and the chamber is 1.5in.I would recomend a 3/4in union over that.

I'm not sure if I want to keep this a pneumatic I don't like that it doesn't have a trigger I might make this into a combustion maybe a hybrid.
And can someone tell me the formula to get a X mix I don't get the mixes of course that must be because I'm 13.

X means multiples. Say you put in 1cc of propane in a 3cc container usally. You would just put 2cc of propane and 6 cc of air into the same chamber. Of course you want to find the right stoichometric mixture.

Oooooo ok I didn't know that do you know how I could make that gun into a hybrid or combustion? Do you think that it would be ok if I left the union on for the cumbustion? would that alow more pressuer to build up and then burst the disk?

Some people would argue it would, some would argue it wouldn't.spudchucker wrote:I left the union on for the cumbustion? would that alow more pressuer to build up and then burst the disk?
To turn it into a hybrid all you need really is an ignition source. You can meter the gas in with a syringe, close it up, the pressurise it, and there you have it.

you need to break it apart and take out the piezo ignitor:

Then all you need to do is hook up the wire and brass bit to two points inside your chamber, in your case with a metal chamber the contact areas with the chamber have to be insulated.
