Looking good mitch!
Are you going to "put the coals to it"? I know you have more than 200psi available.

That thing was driving me nuts. Significant pressure just waiting to be used, and nothing finished to make use of it!
To avoid the mad house, I have started a copper gun as well.
This should be working by the weekend.

Like the pump, nothing revolutionary, just a culmination of several ideas from varying sources.
Barrel 1/2" x 36"
Chamber 3/4" x 10-14" (not decided yet)
Piston turned from nylon w/ floating o-ring (sorry Jack, no epoxy this time)
I have an old break-barrel that will donate it's stock to the project.
And of course, as much pressure as I can manage.
I'll put it up on it's own thread when it's done.

very nice job Mitchza89.
I like the neatness and compacticity (yes, thats right, i just made up my own word) of it. And the fact that you made it from spare parts adds that much more character to the gun.
job well done!

Is that coaxial? if not, where would the piston go... anyways, assuming it is coaxial, how did you get the metal barrel inside the chamber? is it epoxied or something?

Cheers for the comment Sthorne, I really appreciate it mate.
Chartreusesnot, It's a Coax. The piston is located in the Hose Barb that's connected to the back of the gal pipe.
I use standard compression fittings for copper on all my guns. I slide some 6mm clear plastic tube over it and stick a compression olive over that, then I just screw it all up. It's air tight and I've never had a problem with it, even at 400psi. It's so much better then epoxying because I hate the idea of never being able to take it apart if I get a leak.
With compression, everything is threaded, everything is reversable.
UPDATE! The pistol is dead. I've made a completely polished 300psi+ meter long 8mm boomstick!
I'll post it soon!
