SGTC Forum image archive?

I recently realized that many of the photos on the SGTC forums are hosted on external sources, mainly VillagePhotos. I have no idea how long they will remain up. I've started saving them to my computer in the hopes of getting them all saved before they get deleted (no idea what that date is). I mean, the originals of these photos are probably gone/deleted. The forum archive is the only way we can possibly access them. Once they're gone, they are never returning. Is anyone else interested in this idea, or am I all alone?

The ones in my posts have all but disappeared, what I do however when I link back to an archived thread is upload the pictures on spudfiles too, like I did with this one.

I suppose this is the nature of the web. I give you kudos for trying to save what you can however i don't think that anything lasts forever.

This is why I want people to attach pictures via the attachment option when you post... so things like this don't happen.
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

I think one of the reasons why people use external image hosting is if they want to post their photos elsewhere as well as the forum, and naturally spudfiles doesn't allow hotlinking.
