Sigh. It happens to any good site at my school. If it's not block it's expected to be within 2 weeks. My school uses the Connecticut Educational Content Network Filter. (CEN) I get around it with a proxy that mysteriously hasn't been blocked the entire year. It scould be because it only works if you persistently refresh the page until the remote host wakes up from its nap. Anyway, I can view the page but I can't log in... Kinda pointless for this site. Would anyone know how to do this or maybe find another way? The proxy I typically use is http://www.surferclam.com and use the phproxy. Or if you want we can talk about other frustrating systems like CEN. BLARG I HATE CEN!!! :evil:

i'm not at school now but I bet that's blocked. Most proxies are unless they have something wrong with them. (The system is playing with my head!) Anyway can you log on to spudfiles from there?

"Weapons" :lol:

I've never really had much trouble getting around the blocks at my school, except once. When that happened, my friend the hacker massacred half of the school board's network for fun (low security and stupid hillbilly programmers), and it seems they got the message.

My schools coverage is quite laughable, and so are the little breeches in the security, like whenever I log in on an ESP laptop it prompts me to open my user applescripts in script edit, and that has all my rights and things in a changeable form.

My school's security is a joke too, the teacher's have the ability to turn the blocker off for all the computers in a certain classroom (in case they want to do a webquest and the site is blocked) but they forgot to tell the teachers to turn it on, and most of them haven't figured it out yet, so most of the classrooms at my school have no blocker whatsoever.

My school(s) had the SF homepage blocked, but nothing else.
Wow, super security work guys (It was also the "Bess" guardian btw).
For other sites I had a clueless sever in a Mexico city train station routing data for me.

Damn that sucks Spudblaster, don't you just hate when one dumbas* ruins the fun for everyone else.

My school had filters, but I just made friends with a teacher by doing stuff like bringing him food, enforcing his homework policies, made people he loaned money too cough it up, stuff like that. And as payment he gave me the password to the administrators account and I had free reign and no filters to block my web browsing, plus he also bought me smokes, so it was worth it.

I'm not going to edit it because I'm not worried about people trying to hurt me. It would be a big mistake for someone try to break into my house. :lol: I'd probably end up robbing them. To analyze how safe you would be, just ask yourself, if the cops came into my house to search for illegal items, how many times could I potentially get arrested? I, in fact don't care so much that my phone number along with my adress is on the internet somewhere. Haven't gotten any calls yet. :cry:

OMG thanks!!! I wish I could give you some kind of reward. This is the Holy Grail I've been searching for!!! I'm at school right now typing this. Thanks again.

Just because the problem that originally started this thread has been solved doesn't mean this thread is dead. If anyone else has a solution please post. It's always good to have a few backup plans. However the smiley shortcuts don't work. (just tried the winky one now)
