Mr.C: That's not as easy as you think. It's like me kicking you in the balls and telling you to stop crying.

sorry for the double post...and I'm not trying to bump either, but I saw that someone made a QEV, or a piston valve, whatever it's called, out of some rubber gasket things, a bolt, and ring made out of tennis ball inside a copper tee....it seems simple to make, but I couldn't see the inside of the tee or what has to be done, can anyone explain the process? Someone told me that for a 1 inch barrel, it's better to have a sprinkler valve than to use a 3/4 inch qev...can't I get a 1 inch qev somewhere?

I have a 1/2" QEV (the same model as the on used here --> http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/dual-3- ... t4650.html)
and I use it at pressures above 300 psi without any porblems... some say that al-xg has used them at 800 psi but stay below 400 - 500 psi and you should be fine

I live in the US....but I used the search function and the only thing I could find was to order it from mcmaster.com, but they don't carry that type, and the closest one I could find to it was 3/4 inch...
