grey background is nice, never use pure white, to bright, nor pure black, to dark.
SpudFiles is actually grey, not white. Google is far whiter than SpudFiles.
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

We all felt the same when it first came out, it's just the transition from dark to bright, it will go away before you know it :)

I know, that’s why I can stand Spudfiles.
Perhaps maybe you should make a new web-search engine, one that uses the spudfiles color scheme. :D
