Epoxy
Where do people get epoxy? i always hear people saying fill this with epoxy, coat that, when all i find is those small tubes at homedepot. Where do you get "bulk" epoxy?
no such thing really (to my knowledge)... you can buy XL syringes of epoxy at Walmart for about 10 dollars. or im sure you can buy directly from the manufacturer in bulk (like 50 .85 oz tubes) for like 2 dollars each (as opposed to walmarts 4 dollars each).

oh yeah, never even thought about the automotive department...jrrdw wrote:Automotive stores carry a few different kinds. You can also try online places, google epoxy and you'll get more places then you want to look at.
that would probably be your best bet for buying mass amounts of epoxy.

no, im talking about the "LOCTITE" 2 - part, 5 minute epoxy in the syringes. It is the leading epoxy as far as its amazing pressure and temperature resistance.... I think you should try it.

Home Depot sells gallon jugs of epoxy in the paint section. it's like 35 bucks for the deal but lasts a long time

You can sometimes get epoxy at hardware stores.
I could get it from Bunnings (In Australia) last time I checked.

If you live in the States, you can get 25 pound buckets of various types of epoxy from McMaster. Also, all the other ideas. It isn't really that hard to find, it's just not common at hardware stores.
