As the title implies, I am officially cursed when it comes to bike pumps. I have wrecked 4 in the last week! I haven't abused them or anything! has anyone else had a spudding related curse?

I underpressurized mine by a factor of 2:1, but that didn't stop them from failing! I was just about to shoot my golfball gun a minute ago using my freshly purchased bike pump with a 120 psi gauge, and it broke at 45 psi! needless to say, I am extremely pissed!

The part that broke was next to the gauge, it's where the hose connects to the body, with a threaded coupler type thing to hold down the hose. The plastic housing itself blew apart!

Yeah, this week the handle snapped off my Schwinn Airdriver 1100. I stayed below the rated pressure and the thing still leaked. Also it has this output switching thing that should be avoided at all costs. Does anyone have a particular bike pump they recommend? There seem to be a lot of cheap (low quality) ones out there.

Use them enough and they all break.
