Would it be possible to make a gatling gun with the Slider valve to fire each part off? Have the spiral groove trigger the slider and move the bolt, it might need 2 seperate grooves. I might make this for a paintball gun, then possibly move up to potatoes.

What's an index valve? I just realised that you might be able to use electrically controlled sprinkler valves for the valve or the exhaust, just using it as the valve would be good enough for paintballs.

With these index valves, if they can pick which barrel the air vents to, couldn't you just reverse it and have multiple chambers for multiple shots. Just pick a chamber and fire.
