Golf Ball Breech Loader

I was thinking of making a golf ball breech loader by the conventional method( http://members.aol.com/sph911/spud/breech.html ) but then I saw this on bcarms.com

The picture is not very descriptive. Does anyone know how it works because it would be a nice addition to anyones golf ball cannon.
