No you don't. You need a player that can play .flv files though.Youtube itself doesnt have a button for this, you NEED to do this with "3rd party software".
You can copy it out of your temporary internet files before you close the page. It will be named differently, but just arrange them by size and you'll see a large file with youtube in the name. Rename it "[filename].flv"
It requires more work but you can download them faster.
