The Only Thing Worth Buying at Lowes...

Well, attached below is the only thing worth buying at Lowes. Easily allows the use of bottled CO₂, but of course this wouldn't be feasible for larger cannons. I bought the thing for a BBMG I'm building.

It's just a Kobalt CO₂ regulator, which I tore the rubber "pretty" coating off the outside of.

Yeah I saw that product when I was on their website. I was lookin for a regulator for my advanced combustion from Lowes and ended up finding this one. I think I might end up gettin it.

Back on topic though, It seems a bit expensive at 85 smackers. I guess its worth it, and it looks pretty sweet too.

My lowes is actually one of the best hardware stores in my area. My HD is terrible actually unorganized, unfriendly, and badly stocked.

Home Depot caters more to the contractor while Lowes targets DIY and markets to females more. They both carry nearly identical items, just under different brand names. You can see that as Lowe's increases market share, H.D. is trying to become more attractive to DIY and women. If you like one over the other, it is mainly subjective preference, and not wrong. I like brands from both and will get specific items from each one. Why is my stance the way it is? I am a contractor/business owner and I used to be the Sales Manager at a Lowe's.

From the video at the bottom, the tank would work for short bursts but not really sustained fire. It sounded like it got really cold or something. I guess it does work though, check out the link and see for yourself.

I think that's because he's using one of those little 12 ounce tanks you buy from Lowes next to the regulator itself. The regulator fits on any tank with "paintball" CO₂ threads, so I have a 20 ounce tank, which would be a lot more applicable.
