All i need to do is find some solid pvc and i will give it a go,our work shop(school metal and fabrication classes)has a metal lathe and it goes up to 150mm chuck.From these drawings i might see what i can do.And i'll tell my teacher im just doing some lathe practice and machineing pactice and he wont care wooo all i need is solid PVC,any one no where i can get it in AUS?But im just on a head spin thinking i can do this tomorow i most probably will be thinking different...Ohh well i can fantasice.

Really? So if it has a bigger valve seeating area and more expansion room, it is still not as good? O and rember it is 4'' in and 2 out. I also make one that is 6'' in and 4'' out.

I know this is an old post but why would you need a lathe when a 3" hole saw would do the trick to make the pipe silde in.
