One thing I noticed (because you didn't give the link so I typed "spudfiles" in search) Is 4+ pages came up w/ spudfiles links.

I am sure if I ever post a vid there I would include SF link as well.
So SF's is definately represented already.

But as far as a main vid from here, That would be a great compliment to any builder to have a segment on an official SF youtube vid IMO.

And like I already stated we could definately create the best spudgun vid on Youtube and get plenty of views. 8)

I think it should be a short promotional video, no longer then 3 minutes.

You'll need music, a lot of editing and some nice cannon videos.

You start off in the video by hinting a bit about what Spudfiles is, then you have a few carnage clips, then go into more detail about Spudfiles and finish the video of with some more damage clips.

And you want fast pace, possibly loud and heavy music but nothing death metal. You could possibly even pull it off with clasical music like 'Carmina Burana - O Fortuna' etc. Epic music.

And you'll need loads of clips for fast pace montages, only slowing for really good clips. And only a few pictures, but it would be good if they relate to the cannons seen in the video.

I too have Sony Vegas, I can help out also.

There are thousands of pictures that I can already use. I want to possibly strobe a whole bunch in sync with music. I have yet to decide what I'll put in though. I'll just go through my iTunes and find the one that'll best fit. Video clips are what I need right now.

I was just watching music vids, and KISS "I love it loud" classic came on.
I was thinking it's an awesome cannonplay song.

I looked up the lyrics and they're really cool too. Example:

"Stand up, you don't have to be afraid
Get down, love is like a hurricane
Street boy, no I never could be tamed
Better believe it
Guilty, 'til I'm proven innocent
Whiplash, heavy metal accident
Rock on, I wanna be the President

Cause I love it (LOUD)"

BTW Ehm...Bump! There's some cool cannon songs though. 8)

You could use Blow me Away be Breaking Benjamin.

Also when video clips are submitted, it doesn't help if they're youtube vids. I need the files. Time is ticking, 2 weeks until I can't use mac based video tools.

Actually, you can download videos off of YouTube.

I'm making a video for my cannon today, I'll make a copy if you really need it.

You could use "send the pain below" (Chevelle) and build suspense until the heavy parts, where you show all of the fireball/damage clips

Well I've never needed to download a video off youtube. Are they in their original resolution? Having already released videos won't make it as good either. C'mon new clips people! :D As far as the music I look at the recommendations but chances are I won't use them unless I really see potential in the music. Just upload new clips here. My first chance to make video is tomorrow.

I don't really have any great editing capabilities, but I can certainly provide some shooting clips and still shots. If it's okay with the others working on this, I'll post a thread for still shots later tonight.

As for the videos, that could be kind of difficult, as the forum doesn't allow you to upload any video formats. Any ideas?

Don't people have Geocities accounts or email? That would work.

As for the music, I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest White Summer by Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin).

You just upload them as .zip files. You have to compress the videos.
