Sure Is
And there are people like me who like to 'stop the silence of nature' I guess you could say. *tweet tweet BANG! -------* Yeah on youtube the cannons are pretty bad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4hXeGH8zeg
Hmmm did I see DWV in that video?
They probably thought "hey why not buy that cheaper, lighter pipe"

More than likely... But DWX on a small combustion like that although un desireable isnt that bad. As the title suggests it wasnt enough glue. The DWV parts them selves (pipe inclusive) were all in good condition (freeze frames). In my opinion the gun was build too quickly, not by the wrong materials...psycix wrote:Hmmm did I see DWV in that video?

I get the feeling that little episode was somehow planned. He was unusually anxious about the firing, looking away when it fired (unusual) and got up way too fast after it blew.microman171 wrote:Sure IsAnd there are people like me who like to 'stop the silence of nature' I guess you could say. *tweet tweet BANG! -------* Yeah on youtube the cannons are pretty bad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4hXeGH8zeg

Yea I dont know. It did look a little fake... I think he was nervous useing it for the first time, I know I was with my first.
I think it was just any random glue, Not proprer Epoxy or PVC cement

And ofcourse, the lowered socket depth of that DWV T-piece also didnt help the "glue" to hold it together.
There was defenitely NO pvc primer and cement used. The fittings just shoved out of eachother.
Also note that not only the chamber ->barrel connection blew, but also the handle came off.

Yea. If they had done It right I would have workid even with DWX as long as the pressures didnt get too high.
If you look at some of the cannons on here there s a junk hybrid (it goes to 2x) And it is a bottle and a piece of PVC.
So judging by that I would say DWV would USUALLY be more than capable EXCEPT for the fact there arn't any specs to make DWV by so there could be defects that cause it to break.
